Let the summer begin!
April 24, 2009
I don’t want to jinx it, but I think it’s safe to say the seasons have finally turned in Seattle! Sure, there’s a little ‘tween season schizophrenia, but for the most part I see blue skies and rising temperatures. If you’re anything like me (and I think most Seattleites are in this respect) this means going out to enjoy the outdoors!
I didn’t do nearly enough hiking last year, and I intend to make up for it this year. Just last weekend I met up with some friends and got my first hike of the season in! It was a simple one to kick things off– Poo Poo Point at Cougar Mountain. Of course, I don’t go adventuring without my trusty camera, so click through and enjoy the pics!

One friend brought his beautiful dog along for the trek. He was running circles around us the entire time!

Poo Poo Point is primarily a launching point for hang gliders. These flags mark the point of no return.

And finally, the gratuitous out-of-focus selfie
